Such AEB member companies as Betset and Johnsosn Controls Inc. were able to present their investment plans in St. Petersburg for the next year and voice out their problems connected with expansion (such as identification of suitable land plots, connection of the objects to electricity and gaz supply grids). The Governor instructed his government to consider these cases and to find adequate solutions. 

On behalf of the AEB North-Western regional Committee in the meeting through Skype connection participated the Chairman of the Committee, Timo Mikkonen. He stressed that during the last year AEB noticed a clear progress in relations of the local authorities with foreign investors. He mentioned that such governmental bodies as Committee on Investments and the Investment Council under the Governor of St. Petersburg have been quite active to meet with the representatives of the business and various business associations. There was also established a front-office, which helps investors to solve their problems with various administrative barriers. At the end Mr. Mikkonen called the governor to organize such meetings more often.
