On November 19, 2020 the AEB held the online meeting with Deputy Head of Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia Mr. Timofey Nizhegorodtsev regarding the regulation of medical devices market.

At the meeting Mr. Ruslan Kokarev, AEB Deputy CEO delivered the welcome speech. Together with Mr. Nizhegorodtsev, FAS Russia was represented by the Head of the Department for Control over Public Health Service Ms. Elena Kloster, her Deputy Mr. Maxim Degtyarev, Head of the Health Service Control Unit Mr. Sergey Nikolaev, as well as the Deputy Head of International Economic Cooperation Department Mr. Ruslan Makhmudov.

The meeting was organized to provide the AEB members – international manufacturers of medical devices – with an opportunity to discuss with FAS officials topical issues of the industry’s regulation, including public procurement, conditions for competition etc. Some questions were answered comprehensively, on the others it was agreed to continue consultations via official correspondence.
