The event was moderated by Andreas Bitzi, Chairman of the AEB North-Western Regional Committee.

The meeting began with the welcome speech of Pilippe Pegorier, Deputy Chair of the AEB Board, who told about the main activities of the AEB in Russia and the North-Western Region. The plenary session continued by the presentation of Roman Golovanov, Chair of the Investment Committee of St. Petersburg, who made a presentation on the investment climate and potentials of St. Petersburg and answered the questions of the AEB members.  

Further, Alexander Dementyev, Director of the Agency for Development of the Novgorod Region presented the investment potential of the Novgorod region. Andreas Goll, CEO of “Saueressig” company, operating in Novgorod region, told about the success story of their business localization in Novgorod Region, and the main issues the company faced when entering the region.

In the second half of the event Andreas Bitzi, Chairman of the AEB North-Western Regional Committee (NWRC), presented the report on AEB NWRC’s activities in 2018 and the plans of the Committee for 2019. The report was approved unanimously.

At the end of the meeting Ruslan Kokarev, AEB COO, briefed on the AEB membership benefits.
