On June 17, 2024, the North-Western Regional Committee of the AEB held a conference “Global Problems, Universal Solutions.”
The participants discussed trends in the development of the Russian economy, the current legal environment, important aspects of the field of logistics and innovation.
The conference was moderated by Elena Kiyanova, AEB NWRC Chair, Philip Morris Sales and Marketing.
Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, opened the event by presenting the results of the annual business climate survey. Thus, the business activity barometer increased to 127 points out of a possible 200, which indicates the optimistic mood of the business community.
Stanislav Murashov, Raiffeisenbank, shared his expectations for the Russian economy and spoke about the reasons why further active economic growth may be difficult.
Andrey Tuzov, EPAM Law, focused on the issue of non-obvious risks for cross-border business in criminal law practice, giving illustrative examples.
Natalia Bochkova, WELLGO, spoke about the factors that influenced logistics in the first half of 2024, and also pointed out the trends in the next 2 quarters of 2024. The meeting participants also discussed what you should pay attention to when organizing logistics.
Participants of the event received answers to numerous questions. The conference became an excellent platform for receiving up-to-date information from leading experts, as well as for communication and exchange of experience.
