The main theme of the REN-2026 was "From energy resources and technologies to future prosperity." The business program included more than 30 panel sessions in seven thematic areas: transformation of the oil market, development of the gas market, investments in the electric power industry, new energy, ecology and energy efficiency, energy of international cooperation, as well as education and personnel.

The participants' special attention was drawn to the issues of adapting global energy markets to new geopolitical conditions. The forum discussed prospects for international cooperation in the fuel and energy sector, technological sovereignty, as well as Russia's role as one of the leading players in the global energy market.
