On May 13, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) took part in the 33rd Russian Pharmaceutical Semashko Forum – a premier industry event that annually brings together high-level representatives of regulatory authorities, the business community, and the medical profession.

As part of the Forum’s business programme, AEB CEO Tadzio Schilling, together with Victor Dmitriev, CEO of the Association of Russian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers, co-moderated the session “Regulatory Initiatives and Ensuring Drug Security”. The session addressed current challenges in improving the legal and regulatory framework and enhancing patient access to high-quality medicines.

In addition to the public proceedings, Tadzio Schilling also engaged in closed-door consultative meetings with key federal government officials, where prospects for the further development of the pharmaceutical sector and measures to strengthen industry-regulator trust were discussed.
