The event was devoted to the development of the region and the principles of responsible investment. 

Conference organizers were the Public Chamber of the Krasnodar region, the AEB Southern Regional Committee, the Association "Agency for Investment and International Cooperation", the Krasnodar Regional branch of the RSPP and the Russian-English socio-political weekly "Yug Times”.

The event was moderated by Oleg Zharko, Chairman of the AEB Southern Regional Committee, Regional Director for Corporate Affairs and Government Relations of Danone Russia, and Juliana Perederiy, Branch Director, Coordinator of the AEB Southern Regional Committee.

Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, greeted the participants by emphasizing the need for close ties between business and government, as well as the importance of the transition to a "green", more sustainable form of development. He wished the participants a fruitful work, the efforts of which will make 2021 a breakthrough year.

Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Krasnodar Territory, Chairman of the Committee on industry, investment, entrepreneurship, communications, consumer and financial markets, foreign trade activities Sergei Altukhov also welcomed the attendees. He stressed that today's investment and business orientation directly affect how the future generation will live. 

During the conference speeches were made by: Marina Vashukova, Executive Director of the association "National Network of the Global Compact", Alexey Yurtayev, Minister of Economy of the Krasnodar Territory, Vasily Fokin, Head of sustainable development of Danone Group in Russia and the CIS, Roman Ishmukhametov, Baker McKenzie lawyer, Alisa Andreeva, Manager for corporate affairs of affiliated companies region of "Philip Morris International", Konstantin Dybal, Senior manager of EY, Murat Dudarev, Deputy chairman of the Krasnodar regional branch of "Opora Russia" and others.

Summarizing the results of the meeting, Sergey Altukhov emphasized the need to preserve the environment and implement the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals, in particular recycling.
