On April 16, 2023, the AEB representatives - Olga Silnitskaya, AEB Deputy CEO & GR Director, and Pavel Rudyakov, Senior Technical Regulation Manager, Samsung, took part in the meeting of the International Roundtable of Household Appliance Manufacturer Associations (IRHMA) in Washington, USA.

The meeting was arranged by Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM - United States of America and Canada); and attended by Home Appliance Europe (APPLiA); Asociación Nacional de Fabricantes de Aparatos Domésticos A.C. (ANFAD - Mexico), Consumer Electronics and Appliances Manufacturers Association (CEAMA - India), Consumer Electronics Suppliers Association (CESA - Australia), South African Domestic Appliance Association (SADA - South Africa)  and  Korea Electronics (KEA - Korea), besides AEB.

The participants discussed high priority topics which are critical for electronic industry, such as: circular economy, chemicals ban, plastic packaging bans, right to repair regulations, microfibers, F-gas ban, energy efficiency standards, USB-C regulation. It was decided to share latest regulation trends and technical standards information on regular basis. Also, the members of IRHMA will join efforts to develop same regulations in all countries to make it more alike and optimum for implementation.
