After the plenary opening session of the Forum, organized in the creative area of the “Prostoria” Multifunctional Center, were about 400 people from different cities of Hansa Union participated, the AEB held a round table entitled “Prospects for the development of transport infrastructure as a basis for economic development”.

The round table was moderated by Andreas Bitzi, Chair of the AEB North-Western Regional Committee. The session was opened by Ruslan Kokarev, AEB COO.

The round table was focused on such topics as the role of European business in the development of transport and communication interaction between countries and regions of the EU and EEC (speaker - Ruslan Kokarev, AEB COO); development of the transport infrastructure of the Pskov region (speaker - Boris Yolkin, Chairman of the Committee on ransport and Road Management of the Pskov region); railway infrastructure in Pskov region (speaker - Roman Gorin, Deputy Head for Territorial Administration of the Oktyabrskaya Railways); development of "green" road corridors Russia – EU (speaker - Nikolay Polyakov, Deputy Head of the Department for Work with Infrastructure Companies, ANO Strategic Partnership North-West); development of intermodal transport (speaker- Natalya Kapkaeva, Head of the port of Hamburg representative office in St. Petersburg); prospects for the transport development of the Pskov region, taking into account regional economy development and cross-border cooperation; investors’ expectations for projects in the field of transport infrastructure (speaker-Sergey Vershinin, Associated Partner, Rödl & Partner). 

The presentations were followed by live discussion and question/answer session.
