On July 17, 2025, the AEB Taxation Committee held a traditional summer tax conference "Tax System Development. Trends, Challenges, Prospects". 

The conference highlighted trends in the development of Russian tax legislation, issues related to cross-border operations and transactions with intermediaries and payment agents, as well as tendencies in tax court practice. 

The event was attended by Alexey Sazanov, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Finance, Anastasia Smotritskaya, Deputy Head of International Taxation Department of Federal Tax Service, Igor Pokidko, Deputy Head of International Taxation Department of Federal Tax Service, and Mikhail Orlov, Chair of Expert Council of State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes; Head of the Legal and Taxation Department, Partner, Kept, and prominent tax experts.
