On December 3 2024, the AEB Taxation Committee held the annual tax conference “Tax results of the year. Dialogues on what matters”.

The conference gave the audience an overview of changes and trends in the development of Russian tax legislation, issues related to corporate restructuring (tax consequences and risks), as well as tendencies in tax court practice. 

Alexey Sazanov, State Secretary - Deputy Finance Minister, Julia Shepeleva, Deputy Head of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, presented the view of the authorities and answered the questions from business.

Among the topics the experts raised the issues of risks of subsidiary liability for tax offences, corporate restructuring, tax risks on sales of stakes and shares, etc.
