AEB to Participate in SPIEF 2026

The Association of European Businesses (AEB) will take part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2026), taking place from 3 to 6 June 2026. SPIEF remains one of the leading platforms for discussions on economic development, business trends, and international cooperation.

The AEB will be represented at the Forum by AEB CEO Tadzio Schilling and AEB Board Chairman Ulf Schneider.

As part of the SPIEF business programme, AEB representatives will participate in the following sessions:

3 June

• Plenary session of ‘Ensuring Drug Security’ Forum

4 June

• “The Tax System: Domestic Priorities and International Cooperation”

• “Antimonopoly Regulation and Intellectual Property: Rethinking Approaches in the Digital Age”

• “The Role of Business in Supporting International Development”

5 June

• “The Changing Landscape of Foreign Business: Transformation Through Challenges. How Much of Foreign Business Will Remain Foreign?”

The discussions will address a broad range of issues that are highly relevant to both Russian and international businesses, including labour market development, macroeconomic outlook, regional growth, taxation, competition policy, and the evolving operating environment for foreign companies.

AEB’s participation in SPIEF provides an important opportunity to contribute to dialogue between the business community and public authorities and to present the perspective of international business on key economic issues.
