On March 9, 2022, the Government of the Leningrad Region hosted the first meeting of the Operational Headquarters for the sustainable development of the economy of the Leningrad Region with the participation of the business community and major Russian and foreign business associations.

The Association of European Businesses was represented by the AEB North-Western Regional Committee. As a result of the meeting, a list of support measures was prepared in the context of sanctions restrictions for making proposals at the federal level and for adoption at the regional level. Alexander Drozdenko , the Governor of the Leningrad Region emphasized that all proposals would be sent to the federal level, and regional measures would be worked out in details.
