On 21 March, 2016, representatives of the AEB Working Group on Waste Management consisting of automobile, tire and tobacco manufacturers, as well as cosmetics, crop protection, energy, home appliance, retail and consulting companies took part in the meeting organised by Rosprirodnadzor and the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Environment. 

The aim of the meeting was to discuss the  implementation of new waste management legislation (e.g. questions related to declaration and reporting by producers and importers of goods and packaging, further cooperation between the business community and relevant state bodies responsible for implementing the legislation, etc.).
