On December 17, 2020, AEB Migration Committee organized XIII Annual Migration Conference titled “MIGRATION PRACTICE AND LEGISLATIVE PROSPECTS. MIGRATION CONCEPT”, which was held online with participation of the representatives of the General Migration Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and representatives of the Moscow Migration Directorate  and Moscow region Directorate of Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. 

Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, opened the event with a welcome speech, while Ludmila Shiryaeva, AEB Migration Committee Chair, Governmental relationship director, Tax & Law, EY, moderated the conference.

Valentina Kazakova, Head of the Main Directorate for Migration of the Ministry of

Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Lieutenant General of Police, told about migration and legislative prospects in practice and about issues of entry into the Russian Federation.

Alexander Perekrest, Head of Government Relations Department, METRO Cash &

Carry, and Anna Sazonova, Head, HR Division, Travelling group, Raiffeisenbank told about the ways this issues were implemented in practice.

Ekaterina Matveeva, Director, People Advisory Services, EY, spoke about entry into the Russian Federation for HQS family members, persons participating in the installment and maintenance of foreign equipment, family members of citizens of the Russian Federation.

Andrey Slepov, AEB Migration Committee Deputy Chairman, Partner, BEITEN BURKHARDT, told about the change of the list of purposes of entry into Russia.

 

Alexey Filipenkov, AEB Migration Committee Deputy Chairperson, Partner, Visa - Delight and Ekaterina Elekchyan, AEB Migration Committee Deputy Chairperson, Senior lawyer, CMS Russia, discussed such issues as applying for residence permit and citizenship in the Russian Federation and electronic visas.
