On October 30, 2024, the AEB hosted the annual briefing by the Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service Maxim Shaskolsky. 

Maxim Alekseevich Shaskolsky, as well as his colleagues from the Service, answered questions from AEB member companies regarding the interaction of retail chains with suppliers, regulation of marketplaces, factors regulating prices for food products, risks and prospects for the development of artificial intelligence. 

A large block of questions was devoted to the regulation of intellectual property of copyright holders, the pharmaceutical industry, and public procurement. During his speech, Maxim Shaskolsky paid special attention to the department's approaches to ensuring a competitive environment in e-commerce markets and the use of information technologies in the fight against cartels. 

At the end of the meeting, Maxim Shaskolsky thanked the Association for productive cooperation and invited it to continue working together on other platforms.
