On October 3, 2023, the AEB hosted an annual briefing by the Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, Maxim Alekseevich Shaskolkiy, on the topic “Main trends in antimonopoly regulation in Russia.”

The briefing was organized by the AEB Legal Committee. As in previous years, Mr. Shaskolsky provided comprehensive answers to questions asked by representatives of AEB member companies from various industries.

The briefing covered such topics as legal regulation, government procurement, trade regulation, control of financial markets, issues of compulsory licensing and parallel imports, unfair competition and advertising, and international cooperation.

The Association of European Businesses highly appreciates the fact that Maxim Alekseevich Shaskolsky always finds time in his busy schedule to hold regular meetings with representatives of European companies in Russia.
