On September 28, 2021 Presidential Aide Maxim Oreshkin met with the heads of AEB member companies and discussed the most buring issues facing European businesses in Russia.
In his speech, Maksim Stanislavovich first of all noted the rapid pace of recovery from the crisis and the transition, in fact, to a post-crisis agenda.
Speaking about the prospects for cooperation in solving global issues, Oreshkin mentioned climate issues and asserted that all sides "need to be honest and tell the truth" when working to ensure global climate security by actually reducing CO2 emissions. He also said that Russia plans to take a lead in this process, including through innovative hydrogen fuel production projects in Sakhalin.
The main part of the meeting was devoted to answering the questions of the AEB member companies: the need for a 14-day quarantine upon arrival to the plant, status of the HQS, the conclusion of SPIC 2.0, labeling issues, parallel imports, the rule of "second one out", etc.
The participants of the meeting received comprehensive answers to all these questions.
