On February 16, 2024, AEB experts gathered as part of the Association’s regularly scheduled webinars “Crisis update: sanctions and countermeasures.” 

This time the webinar was dedicated to the legal practice of resolving disputes involving foreign entities in Russian courts. The experts focused on issues related to ways to protect contractual provisions relating to subsidiaries in the Russian Federation. The speakers also discussed recent cases of legal practice relating to Western sanctions, and current approaches to the recognition of foreign arbitration awards.
