On December 21 the AEB held the final this year Crisis Update webinar dedicated to recent developments in counter-sanctions regulation and enforcement practice. The invited experts discussed the latest changes in counter-sanctions measures and summed up the results of the year.

Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, spoke about recent meetings of the AEB with government agencies and outlined the tax, migration and customs issues that are currently being worked on.

Andrey Zharsky, Chairman of the AEB Finance and Investment Committee, partner of the ALRUD law firm, moderated the webinar.

Maria Kobanenko, Partner, EPAM Law Office, presented an overview of countermeasures development since March 2022 till planned measures for February 2024.

Evgeny Roshkov, Managing Partner, Kesarev, made an update on regulatory approval process for corporate transactions and dividend payments. The expert also outlined general trends and possible procedural changes for 2024.

Magomed Gasanov, Partner, ALRUD Law Firm, talked about risks for management and business legislation trends in 2023.
