On March 27, 2024, the AEB held the next regular Crisis Update webinar. This time the experts focused on US sanctions (overview of recent OFAC and BIS actions) and the recent EU FAQs and 13th package of sanctions.

The webinar was opened by Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, and moderated by Andrey Zharskiy, AEB Finance and Investments Committee Chair, Partner, ALRUD Law Firm.

Laura Brank, Partner, Head of Russia Practice, DECHERT LLP, presented an update on latest US sanctions issued since December 2023. 

Alexey Sapozhnikov, General Manager, Head of Legal and Tax, Managing Partner, Attorney-at-law (Germany), Sapozhnikov & Partners, presented an overview of EU 13th sanctions package, spoke about rendering of services and software, General BAFA permission №42 of 20 Feb 2024, no-Russia clause and sale of shares in companies.
