On March 18, 2021, Tadzio Schilling, Chief Executive Officer of the Association of European Businesses took part in the panel discussion during the «Days of Kurgan Oblast» event at TPP.

Sergey Katyrin, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, addressed the meeting with opening remarks. The discussion was moderated by Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Maxim Fateyev.

In his speech Tadzio Schilling noted an important fact that despite the difficult economic situation that has developed to date as a result of the pandemic, ambitious and innovative programs and initiatives are launched in the region, such as a cluster of green engineering, which are of interest to European business. 

Kurgan region which has a strong potential in machine building and metal processing hosts and partners with many AEB members, including such companies as Siemens, Lesaffre, Danone and Rosbank.
