On November 20, 2025, a joint open meeting of the AEB Sustainability Committee and the AEB Energy Committee was held on the topic "Energy Transition, AI and the New Technological and Industrial Landscape".

Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, addressed the participants with a welcome speech.

The event was opened by keynote presentations from representatives of the "Energynet" Center for Future Energy Systems: Dmitry Kholkin and Igor Chausov.

The discussion was moderated by Roman Ishmukhametov, Chairman of the AEB Sustainability Committee, and Armen Tadevosyan, Advisor on Energy Agenda Development at the AEB.

The participants agreed that AI is capable of solving virtually any challenge facing business, society, and the environment by exponentially accelerating scientific and technological progress and fostering economic growth that improves life quality. To implement AI in this mission, businesses should build-up AI infrastructure, mainly - power. Addressing this task requires the consolidation of investment, intellectual, and other resources from companies, thereby creating numerous opportunities for businesses across a wide range of sectors.
