On 29 October, 2019 a European Business Breakfast was organized in partnership between the Consulate General of Finland in St. Petersburg, the AEB North-Western Regional Committee and Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce.

The event was structured in two parts. In the first part a brief macroeconomic update concerning the Russian economy was provided by Tatiana Evdokimova, Chief Economist, Nordea Bank, which flowed by an overview of the opportunities for EU-Russia cooperation by Laurent Bardon, the Head of Trade and Economic Section of the EU Delegation to Russia.

In the second part took place a panel discussion, which focused on such aspects of business, as digitalization, sustainability and AI. Anton Rassadin, Head of Corporate Communication, BSH Russia/Deputy Chairman of the AEB North-Western Regional Committee; Timo Mikkonen, Director Sales Eastern Europe, Oras/ Member of the AEB NWRC Steering Group, joined the discussion.

The event was moderated by Sebastian Gahnström, Economic Attaché, Consulate General of Finland and took place in the Consulate General of Finland in St. Petersburg.
