Svetlana Lomidze, AEB Director for External Relations, has decided to retire from the AEB and devote herself to her family.
Svetlana devoted 22 years to the Association of European Businesses, witnessing the period of genesis, development, and maturation of the AEB. The entire history of the AEB has inextricably been linked to Svetlana, and many of the AEB's achievements would not have been possible without her high professional qualities and her dedication to the goals of the Association. Her highlights and achievements for the AEB development are countless. Svetlana has brought the AEB high-profile briefings to the reference level, her idea of AEB flagship conference has become as new anchorage of AEB thought leadership, and her endless network of contacts has laid the foundation of AEB connections with high level stakeholders.
Over many years of interaction, we have developed not only a trusting working relations with Svetlana, but also warm friendly ties. On September 16 the AEB staff, Board members, friends and former colleagues gathered to share warm memories of joint work with Svetlana and wish her happy and relaxing new period in her life.
We are immensely grateful to Svetlana for her contribution to the life of the AEB. We presented Svetlana a memorable photo book with memories, words of gratitude, and wishes as a heartfelt symbol of our gratitude.
We are not saying goodbye. The doors of AEB are always open. We will be glad to see Svetlana Lomidze at our events and welcome her visits to the office.
