On 1 March 2024, the AEB Finance&Investments Committee and AEB IT&Telecom Committee held an open joint meeting to discuss the 12th EU sanctions package and FAQ as of 6 Feb 2024 in part of IT and services. 

The meeting was opened and chaired by Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, Andrey Zharskiy, AEB Finance&Investments Committee Chairperson / Partner, ALRUD Law Firm, and Maria Ostashenko, AEB IT&Telecom Committee Chairperson / Partner, ALRUD Law Firm. 

Vladimir Efremov, Partner, Melling, Voitishkin and Partners (MVP), shared information on EU intra-group services ban, EU software services ban, EU IT consultancy services ban, EU Commission FAQ, as well as on General License No. 42 by German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA), 12th sanctions package by Switzerland and UK IT consultancy services ban. The participants discussed numerous questions with regard the sanctions on IT/services, EU FAQ, BAFA General License, etc.
