On 31 May 2013, the AEB North-Western Regional Committee organized a Government Briefing “Economic, Industrial and Investment policy of St.Petersburg” in Sokos Hotel Palace Bridge in St. Petersburg,  where representatives of St. Petersburg city administration - Irina Babyuk (Head of the Committee for Investment, St.Petersburg), and Maxim Meiksin (Head of the Committee for the Industrial Policy and Innovations, St.Petersburg) presented possible forms of partnerships with European companies on joint development of priority sectors in St. Petersburg. The briefing also focused on opportunities of reducing administrative barriers, the Investment Strategy of St.Petersburg and the city promotional policy. Mr. Meiksin presented also the main focus of the city industrial policy and elaborated on possibilities for European companies to participate in city economic development through innovative solutions.
