Yerlan Khairov, Ambassador at large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Frank Schauff, AEB CEO, welcomed the participants of the event.

The presentation was focused on Kazakhstan's latest steps to improve the investment climate, including tax and customs incentives, its programme of the state assets' privatisation, Kazakhstan's favorable geographical position at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, the country's participation in China's Belt and Road Initiative, and the Eurasian Economic Union, as well as the newly established AIFC, Kazakh Invest National company, Project office "Protecting Business and Investments" and other structures responsible for attracting foreign investors.
