On January 20, a meeting between Deputy Chairperson of the Agrarian Committee of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Yulia Ogloblina and representatives of the Seed Committee Alexander Voichik, KWS RUS, and Tatiana Belousovich, AEB GR Manager, Crop Protection and Seeds was held. 

The issues of localization of seed production on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as the criteria for submitting seed varieties and hybrids for consideration by the Expert Commissions of the Federal State Institution “Russian State Commission on Test and Protection of Selection Achievements” (Gossortcommissiya) were discussed.
