On 16 June 2016, in the framework of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Association of European Businesses met with President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker and Vice-President of the European Commission Kristalina Georgieva. 

Dr. Thomas Staertzel, AEB Board Chairman, Cesare Biggiogera and Philippe Pegorier, AEB Board Members, as well as Dr. Frank Schauff, AEB Chief Executive Officer, welcomed President Jean-Claude Juncker’s initiative to visit the Forum and his readiness to build a bridge between the European Union and Russia.
