Migration Committee open meeting with the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

On October 28 the Migration Committee held a webinar with participation of representatives of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. 


The meeting was opened by the AEB CEO Tadzio Schilling and was moderated by Lyudmila Shiryaeva, Chair of the AEB Migration Committee, EY.

Kirill Adzinov, Deputy Head of the Main Migration Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, as well as representatives of territorial bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow and Moscow region: Vadim Skvortsov, Head of the Department of External Labor Migration, Migration Directorate of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia,  Irina Filippova, acting Head of the Visa and Migration Registration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Alexei Yushkov, acting Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow region; Svetlana Ishutina, Deputy Head of the Labor Migration Department of the Department of Labor Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Moscow region, answered the questions of AEB member companies.

They also explained the order of stay of foreign employees on the territory of the Russian Federation during the pandemic, in particular the application of the Government Decree № 635-r from 16.03.2020 (with changes) and Presidential Decree № 274 "On temporary measures to regulate the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation in connection with the threat of further spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19)"(with changes).

Kirill Adzinov also highlighted the main directions and approaches of the Russian Interior Ministry to the concept of the draft regulatory legal act in the field of migration.

AEB expressed its gratitude for the constructive dialogue and hope to continue and develop the partnership between the AEB and the Ministry.
