On February 4, 2022, the AEB held a discussion dedicated to the current geopolitical uncertainty and its possible consequences.

The experts shared their opinion regarding possible political motives behind the crisis, potential EU and U.S. responses to a possible military conflict and related consequences for the Russian economy and the European businesses working in and with Russia.

“We share the view that business still believes in the possibility of a political and diplomatic solution and hope that the mutually acceptable outcome can and will be achieved” – with these words Tadzio Schilling concluded the meeting and thanked the speakers for their expert opinion.
