We are pleased to announce that Andrey Zharskiy, Partner, ALRUD Law Firm, was elected by the Committee members as a new Finance and Investments Committee Chair. 

We would like to thank Stuart Lawson for 10 years of chairmanship in the AEB Finance and Investments Committee.

Last year the Finance and Investments Committee focused on providing timely and qualified information support and platform for discussion on crisis update and held 25 webinars and 2 offline conferences on crisis update, sanctions and countermeasures which were in great demand, consistently gathered a large audience and received high ratings and appreciations from the participants. Furthermore, under the Committee supervision the annual survey «Strategies and Prospects of European Companies in Russia» were conducted and AEB proposals to the Business Ombudsman annual report were prepared. 

We are sure that Andrey Zharskiy will reinforce and benefit further development of the Committee.

Andrey Zharskiy has over 20 years of experience in providing legal support for complex and international corporate/M&A, JV and commercial projects in different industries, with main focus on projects in   energy and natural resources (including projects involving the extraction and processing of oil, gas, LNG, mining projects in Russia and Africa, infrastructure projects); investment and finance projects in Russia; real estate and construction projects.
