On July 10, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) hosted an open joint event organized by the IT & Telecommunications Committee and the Intellectual Property Committee, focusing on the timely topic of "Deepfakes: Risks and Opportunities for Business."

During the discussion, experts explored key aspects of artificial intelligence advancements, particularly the phenomenon of deepfakes. Participants examined notable case studies of this technology's application, analyzed differences in regulatory frameworks in Russia and abroad, and reviewed existing legal precedents.
