On December 26, the webinar “Overview of recent EU and US restrictions. What business needs to know” was held as part of the AEB Sanctions Update series. The experts discussed the recent sanctions imposed by the US and the UK in relation to Russia, as well as the 15th package of EU sanctions.
Laura Brank, Partner, Head of Russian Practice, DECHERT LLP, and Vladimir Efremov, Partner, Melling, Voitishkin and Partners, presented an overview of the adopted sanctions measures and the legal aspects that will affect businesses. Tadzio Schilling, CEO of the AEB, spoke about what the Association has been working on in recent weeks of this year and outlined plans for next year. Andrey Zharsky, Chairman of the AEB Finance and Investment Committee, moderated the event.
