On November 1, 2024, the AEB Taxation Committee held the webinar “Pillar 2: Legislative Update and Applicability in Russia”.

Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO, opened the event and talked about the AEB GR activities on tax issues and history of the Pilar 2 issue. Nina Goulis, Chairperson of the AEB Taxation Committee, Partner, Kept, moderated the event.

Arevik Agasian, International Tax Director, Kept, gave overview of the Pillar 2 regulations and implementation status of the legislation in different countries. Irina Krokhmalnaya, Manager, International Tax, Business Solutions and Technologies, told how to determine an MNE group for Pillar 2 purposes and to apply "safe harbours”. Gleb Stepanov, Lawyer, Tax Advisor, Brand & Partners, presented overview of requirements for the preparation and submission of Pillar 2 reports.

The experts answered numerous questions re Pillar 2 and gave a number of recommendations.
