On June 14, 2024, the AEB presented the results of the 17th annual survey “Strategies and prospects for European companies in Russia” and the AEB Barometer, which has become a traditional fair indicator of the perception of the business environment.

Having reached a record low of 80 points on a scale from 0 to 200 in 2022, the annual AEB Business Climate Index quickly recovered to 116 points in 2023 and continued to rise by a further 11 points in 2024, reaching 127 out of 200 points, thereby entering the into the zone of positive expectations.

At the webinar, AEB guests discussed the survey results and shared their opinions on the reasons for the continued growth in investor optimism and confidence.

Alexey Dorofeev, CEO, Vice-President Commercial Head Russia & Kazakhstan, GfK Rus, Pavel Chinsky, CEO, CCI France Russie, as well as Chris Weafer, Partner and Founder, Macro-Advisory, took part in the discussion. The event was moderated by Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO.
