On February 24 AEB held the online event in the format of the round table “Green” certificates in Russia: practice and prospects of implementing in Russian automotive industry” which was organized by the AEB Commercial Vehicles Committee jointly with the AEB Green Initiative.

The round table was dedicated to one of the key fields of “green” financing – “green” certificates, the main intention of which is the registration of the electric power actually produced by renewable energy sources for the business decarbonization purposes as well as its application mechanisms. 

The issues of functioning, application of “green” certificates in Russia and, in particular, in the automotive industry, were considered by the speakers – the experts from such organizations as the Association “Goal Number Seven”, Enel Green Power Rus, Avelar Solar Technology, Unigreen Energy, Volvo and Baker McKenzie.
