Second day of the AEB business mission to Uzbekistan

November 12, 2019 - the second day of the AEB business mission in Uzbekistan - became even more intense and fruitful.


Representatives of European companies discussed the issues of doing business and supporting foreign investors with Minister of economy and industry Botir Khodzhayev, representatives of the Ministry of innovative development, Chairman of the Senate Committee on international relations, foreign economic relations, foreign investment and tourism Alisher Kurmanov, as well as with the Head of the Department for policy, press and information, the EU Delegation to Uzbekistan, Jussi Narvi.

The participants of the delegation got the first-hand information about the existing mechanism of support for investors in the country, the need for further reforms and the solution of existing bureaucratic problems.

Both sides stressed the importance of an open and honest dialogue for the development of further cooperation, as well as improving the investment climate in Uzbekistan.

On November 13, delegates will visit Samarkand, where they will hold a number of high-level meetings and visit the MAN plant.
