SPIC-2: a tool for innovation development and technology transfer?

On September 11th, 2019, the AEB Working Group on Modernisation and Innovations held its open event entitled ”SPIC-2: a tool for innovation development and technology transfer?”


The event was focused on technological and legal aspects of the updated mechanism of special investment contracts (SPIC-2). It served as a platform for the discussion of key challenges for innovation development and the diffusion of cutting-edge technologies in Russia, perspectives for implementation of high-tech projects with the support of SPIС-2, advantages and disadvantages of SPIC-2 in comparison to SPIC-1 in terms of the protection of investors.

The meeting was moderated by Michael Akim, Chairman of the Working Group on Modernisation & Innovations, Vice-President, ABB Russia.
