Tadzio Schilling, CEO of the Association of European Businesses, took part in the session “Russian Automotive Industry: Balancing Sovereignty and Integration into Eastern Supply Chains” at the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

Participants discussed scenarios for the development of the automotive industry, production localisation, international cooperation and approaches to integration into new supply chains. Particular attention was given to cooperation with foreign partners and the long-term development of the Russian automotive sector.

The AEB’s participation provided an opportunity to bring the perspective of the international business community and automotive companies operating in Russia to the discussion.
