Tadzio Schilling spoke at the Leningrad Business Forum ENERGY OF OPPORTUNITIES

On September 3, AEB CEO Tadzio Schilling spoke at the plenary session of the online forum "Energy of Opportunities", which was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, the Administration of the Leningrad Region, the Leningrad Region Business Support Fund and the Synergy Corporation.


The main issues of the plenary session were post-covidence economy, national projects, development of small and medium entrepreneurship and tourism business in the region. In addition to the AEB CEO, the meeting was addressed by: Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Region; Tatiana Ilyushnikova, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation; Mikhail Kuchment, co-founder of the Hoff hypermarket chain.

In his speech, Tadzio Schilling noted that AEB actively cooperates with the Government of the Leningrad Region  to improve the investment climate and to support regional investment projects.

Speaking about the prospects of European business in Russia in the "post-covid" era, Tadzio emphasized that the virus has not yet been fully taken under control, and therefore all the consequences of the pandemic are still unknown to us.
At the same time, foreign companies already working in Russia do not refuse to invest in Russian projects, trying to maintain loyalty to the Russian market. 
 
The head of the region, Alexander Drozdenko, said that there are no plans to toughen "anticoronavirus" measures for business in Leningrad region.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Tatiana Ilyushnikova spoke about the forecasts and possible rates of economic growth recovery in Russia.
