On June 04, 2020, the AEB held the eighth round of “Talks on the Russian Economy” titled: “Is there any life after COVID-19?”.

The participants of the talks were well known and highly appreciated by the business community experts:

• Sergey Drobyshevsky, Academic Director of the Gaidar Institute for Economic Policy  

The event were co-chaired by Stuart Lawson, Member of the Board of the AEB, AEB Finance & Investments Committee Chairman, Senior Adviser, EY, Director, Skolkovo Ventures and Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO.

The participants exchanged their views on the possible consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, discussed the economic situation under current conditions and forecasts for economic recovery.

The AEB launched a series of events titled “Talks on the Russian Economy” six years ago, inviting widely known and recognised experts, Russians and foreigners, to discuss the most burning and vital issues for the development of the Russian economy, proposing fine and deep analysis and hopefully offering some solutions.
