The AEB Board Elected the New Chairman and its Deputies
29.04.2026
On April 24, 2026, the Board of the Association of European Businesses (AEB) elected Ulf Schneider, President and Founder of SCHNEIDER GROUP, as the new Chairman of the Board of the Association. This position was previously held by Thomas Staertzel, Business Development Director at Noytech.
Ulf Schneider joined the AEB Board in 2024 and has since made significant contributions to the development of the Association.
"I am grateful for the honor and the opportunity to become Chairman of the Board of the Association of European Businesses, and I look forward to continuing my work in this new capacity to contribute to the further development of the Association. For over thirty years, the AEB has consistently supported European companies in Russia and helped maintain open channels of communication. International companies feel that the Russian market remains open to them and continue to adapt to the new conditions. I am pleased that the new composition of the AEB Board has retained a number of members who have been on the Board for many years, while at the same time being strengthened by new players representing major European companies. In my new role, I plan to further develop constructive dialogue between the Board and AEB members in order to better understand the current needs of member companies and respond promptly to their requests," noted Ulf Schneider.
In addition, the Board elected three Deputy Chairpersons to support the Chairman in his new role:
Filippo Baldisserotto, Managing Partner at Italcantieri;
Philippe Pegorier, Partner at Kesarev;
Ilona Zekely, Partner and Head of European Desk at EPAM Law.
Wishing the newly elected Chairman of the Board and its Deputies a successful and productive term. We look forward to your dedicated leadership and collective success.
