On October 13, the joint event of the AEB and CCTT took place — "Eurasian Logistics Day. Logistics in the New World: Changes, Challenges, Solutions."
Opening remarks were delivered by Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO; Mikhail Goncharov, Secretary General of CCTT; and AlekseyShilo, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation. The plenary session, dedicated to international logistics, featured Ruslan Davydov, Member of the EEC Board (Minister) for Customs Cooperation; Arzybek Kozhoshev, Member of the EEC Board (Minister) for Energy and Infrastructure; and Jurgen Huschka-Wanka, President of the Group of European Trans-Eurasian Operators and Forwarders (GETO), Deputy Chairman of CCTT.
At the roundtable "EU Import Control System 2 – ICS 2," speakers and guests discussed changes regarding the safety confirmation of goods imported into the EU.
During the roundtable "Features of the Russian Logistics Market," leading experts from the AEB Customs and Transport Committee discussed current Russian trade routes, practical aspects of holding customs representatives and carriers administratively liable, changes in the transport and forwarding operations regime, the impact of the "Chestny Znak" system on logistics, and settlement issues with foreign counterparties.
