Tadzio Schilling, CEO of the Association, and Pavel Rudyakov, Chairman Household Appliance Manufacturers Committee, participated in the annual meeting of IRHMA (The International Roundtable of Household Appliance Manufacturer Associations) held from March 20 to 22, 2025 in Shanghai, China.

At the roundtable, the participants of the event discussed the coming changes in the national legislation of the round table members, issues related to the application of artificial intelligence in the field of household appliances, digital product passports, requirements for mandatory digital labeling of household goods, as well as new requirements for product life cycle assessment and a number of other issues.

In addition, AEB representatives visited the international exhibition AWE2025, organized by China Household Electrical Appliances Association (CHEAA). The exhibition showcased the impressive capabilities of modern technologies and the latest innovative achievements in home appliances. This year the main trend is artificial intelligence application in all product groups, which allows consumers to maximize the simplification of daily use of products, as well as to get completely unique experience.
