On December 10, 2024, an open meeting of the subcommittee on construction and real estate and the subcommittee on legal issues and taxation of the North-Western Regional Committee of the AEB was held.

The topic of the meeting was aimed at considering the rights of foreign companies in "sleeping" mode: how long can they remain in this mode, what to think about, and possible options for getting out of this situation. The topic of external management was also covered, where the reasons for the introduction of external management and the selection criteria were considered using recent examples.

The invited speakers shared their successful cases of bringing a company out of "sleeping" mode, shared their life hacks and the difficulties they had to face. The reports were accompanied by numerous questions from the participants of the event, which indicate the relevance of the issue to this day.

The meeting was moderated by Mikhail Sinyavskiy, Chair of the AEB NWRC's Construction&Real Estate Subcommittee.
