On December 11 the AEB held a webinar “Think Globally – Act Locally. COVID 19 and Foreign Investors. The event was intended to show how the AEB member companies, each in their own field of activity, have contributed to struggle with COVID-19 pandemic.

The webinar was moderated by Ruslan Kokarev, AEB Deputy CEO, and was opened by Tadzio Schilling, AEB CEO. 

The Federal level of the participans was represented by Elena Astapenko, Director of the  Department for Medicine Procurement and Use Regulation, Minzdrav; Alexey Alekhin, Director of the Department for Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry Development and Rustam Mingazov, Acting Director of the Department for Regional Industrial Policy and Project Management, both from RF Ministry of Industry & Trade; Evgeny Dridze, Deputy Director, Department for External Economic & International Relations, has represented the Moscow Government. 

They spoke about challenges faced by their ministries, about  programs of support and medical assistance on the regional and federal level, about goals achieved and further steps in the fight against pandemic.

Among speakers from the AEB members were Marina Zhunich (Google), Oxana Tokareva (Ingka Group), Nadezhda Togacheva (Atos Russia), Ekaterina Tchepurina (L’Oreal), and Elena Kustova (Michelin). They shared best practices of their companies during the pandemic period and  spoke about specific measures to support employees and society as a whole in current difficult times.
