The Conference was moderated by Ludmila Shiryaeva, AEB Migration Committee Chairperson, GR Director, EY. 

Frank Schauff, AEB CEO, in his welcome speech thanked the General Migration Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for continuous and constructive dialog with Migration Authorities during these 10 years. 

Pavel Dutov, Deputy Head of External Labor Migration Department, the General Migration Directorate, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, presented the recent legislative developments in migration sphere, patent system for foreign employees from CIS countries, Yuriy Konobeevsky commented on migration registration, as well as on practical migration matters. Igor Dudnik, Deputy Head of Moscow Migration Directorate, Ministry of Internal Affairs, briefed on work permit application procedure for foreign employees in “Sakharovo” and commented on the questions on law enforcement practice in migration sphere in Moscow addressed by AEB member companies. .

Alexey Filipenkov, Co-Chairperson of AEB Migration Committee, Partner, Visa-Delight, presented the specifics of migration registration of foreign employees and informed the audience about the results of the Confederation Cup, and law enforcement practice in migration registration. 

Natalia Stepanova, International Mobility, ROSBANK, gave the examples of problematic issues related to the application procedure in Multiservice Migration Center in Sakharovo. 

The send session of the Conference was covered by high-level experts in Migration sphere.  

Maksim Novikov, Co-Chairperson of AEB Migration Committee, Senior manager, HR Department, KPMG , highlighted the specifics of the crossing the Russia – Belorussia border by foreign employees by third countries. 

Yulia Sivova, Manager, Global Employer Services, Tax and Legal department, Deloitte Consulting LLC , addressed the actual topic bout the specifics of the engagement and stay in Russia of foreign nationals who do not require work permit/work visa, and Ekaterina Matveeva, Senior Manager, People Advisory Services, EY developed the key points for company to remember in case of change of foreign employee’s migration status. 

Closing the Conference’s agenda, Andrey Slepov, Partner, BEITEN BURKHARDT, informed about possible administrative risks of foreign citizens and their employers and gave the practical recommendations for minimizing these risks.
