The AEB has pleasure to invite you to a business meeting “Everything you wanted to know about the Social Media but were afraid to ask” organized by the AEB PR and Communications Committee on February 13^th 2009 at Hotel Marriott Tverskaya, Nevsky Hall (1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya, 34), from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (registration starts from 9:30 am).

New Media is a puzzling concept for many Marketing, Sales, and PR and Communication directors. It presents the following questions:

- Listening to the Social media: who are all these people?

- Why would people trust what’s written in a blog?

- Social media vs. PR?

- Are ‘internal communications’ still internal in a Web 2.0 age?

To shed light on this phenomenon, AEB’s PR and Communications Committee has invited top specialists in Social Media:

· Mikhail Umarov, Director, Communications agency, Comunica

· Olga Rasulova, Director, Edelman Imageland Interactive

· Valery Bardin, Business Development Director, Relteamknown as “father” of Runet.

Together, they will hold a discussion to determine if Social Media is a threat, an opportunity, a tool or an ally, and how to integrate it into a communications campaign.

The meeting will be held in Russian. Translation will be provided upon request.

Attendance fees

Fee for assigned representatives of AEB member companies is 2,100 RUR (VAT not applicable);

Fee for non-assigned representatives of AEB member companies is 2,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);

Fee for representatives of non-member companies: 6,500 RUR (VAT not applicable);

All payments are to be made by bank transfer. Once registration is closed the fee is non-refundable.

Registration will be valid only upon receipt of payment.
